Frank George is a Minuteman, he is from Cuba, and he came to United States being a resident. As a minuteman, he is in charge of taking care of USA border, this means that when he watch people who wants to cross the border, he takes them to the jail. He does not get paid for doing this, but he think that it is necessary to protect the country. He came when he was 7 years old, and as he grow up, he learned that everyone has to respect the USA law, so he thinks that immigrant people broke the law of being in United State illegally. He also think that immigrants still jobs from Americans people. He doesn't understand why people immigrate to this country, he thinks that each country has to deal with their government or economics problems. Frank George lives in Los Angeles, and of course there are a lot of Latinos who lives there, and they here rumors about this man. There was a family who heard about him, and they dare him to live with them for 30 days, and to have the experience how a immigrant lives in United States.
Frank George accepted the dare and he went to live with the Gonzales family as an immigrant person, he assimilated that he didn't have a car, he didn't have a house or a job. Gonzales family members were: Rigoberto (father), Patricia (mother), and their child's: Ricardo, Ariel, Alba, Armida, and Karina. While he was living with Gonzales family, he was having the experience as an immigrant, he had to live in a apartment with low quality, he slept on a little bed, he ate cheap food, and he had to work with Rigoberto on a construction job, which is a hard job and they get paid little. Frank noticed that Rigoberto earned 15, 000 per year, which as barely enough to support the main need of a family such as; rent, bills, and food. Rigoberto also notice that Karina was a good student, with a GPA of 4.0, but se wasn't able to go to college because she was illegal and because she doesn't have the money to attend college. Furthermore, Frank went to Mexico to visited Gonzales family house, where they live before, so he notice how terrible it was, and he notice the reason why they immigrant to United States. After the 30 days immigration, Frank George change his mind and he said that he was thinking wrong.
